Today was a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoors. So, Dominic, Matt and I did just that. Matt mowed the lawn, while Dominic enjoyed the grass and I went crazy with the camera. Along with playing in the grass, Dominic played in the flowers, on the hammock, and in the laundry basket.
After a wonderful afternoon outside and pleasant nap we took a trip to Holland Patent to visit some prior colleagues in the art department. It was Dominic's first time meeting them. (Kayla, I'm sorry we missed you! We will catch up with you soon!!) It was a real nice visit. I didn't realized how grown up my prior students have become. I also realized that I can only remember 33% of the names. Part of this low percentage is that they look so unbelievably different. They have grown so much and so quickly. It makes me think of how fast Dominic will be growing. :-(
When we got home we ran some errands with Matt. One of our stops was to Toys-r-us to get Dominic a walking toy. We got him this mail cart push toy. Once we got home, I put the toy together and Matt went with Mo to get her car. By the time I got the push cart ready Dominic was screaming for his dinner. Needless to say he didn't really get much time with it, so that will be something for tomorrow.
All in all, it was a beautiful day in NY. These are only a few of the many photos I took today.
