Weekly update

Dominic has increased his mobility so much this week it doesn't seem possible. He now is able to roll over, sit up, and then pull himself up onto just about anything that is chest height to him. This was exciting news during the day, but it was not so fun come nap time or night. When his sleeping times come around he now pulls himself up using the crib and then stands and cries. It is such a transition from just rolling over after talking to Jeffy for a little while and then going to sleep. For the last three nights he goes to bed, but doesn't go to sleep for another 1 1/2 hours. Hopefully the novelty of this will wear off soon and it will again become a normal part of routine.

Oh!!! The other new thing that he has been doing for the past two days is saying "Maaaa.Mummmmmm...Mum,Mum, Ma." The funny part is that the little stinker knows where to use it as well. He will generally start calling me when he is in his crib and has pulled himself up.

It is a bad combination of him being able to call me at a time when he is adjusting to something new. I know he is learning quickly at this age and is also learning how to get what he wants. However, it is hard to let go when he is calling me.
