9/30-10/1

It was a busy day!!! First, we attended baby-sign language class in the morning with grandma Mo. Then, it was off to Boston to visit Aunt Angie, and Steve. We arrived in Boston around 4:45pm and by 5:25pm we were off to dinner. It was in this really cozy Italian restaurant with good food that Steve picked it out. So, we arrive and have this table right next to the window. The window was lined with plants in pots overlooking the sidewalk and city of Boston. We were not there ten minutes and Dominic had one of the pots in his hands and threw (or dropped) it to its untimely death. (In attendance were Steve, Steve's brother Doug and Doug's girlfriend Elizabeth, Angie, Matt, Dominic and I.) Great food and conversation were shared for a wonderful evening out. (Thank you Steve, dinner was fantastic!) We finished the evening with a photo (thank you Angie for bringing a camera) that a stranger waiting for dinner was volunteered to take for us. That photo is a Polaroid and so it is not posted. However, when I get the scanner hooked up I will edit this post and post it here as well.

By the time we arrived back at Angie's beautiful apartment and got situated for bed, Dominic was really ready. I was amazed at how quickly he settled down and went to sleep in his pack and play. He awoke twice in the night for not more then five minutes each. Yeah!!!!!!!!

Up the next morning at 6:40am and it took till 9:20am to get all of us showered and fed. We drove to Ikea (it is like an airport of a place) and got a few things (star lights for Dominic's room), then we went to Trader Joe's (wish we had one of these in NY). By the time we got back to Angie's house it was time to pack and leave. We left Boston around 2:30pm and arrived home at 7:15pm. Grandma Mo brought some of her wonderful homemade soup down (hot), rolls, chicken riggies, and apple pie. What a wonderful treat after being on the road. (Thank you Grandma Mo!!!)

It was a great, but exhausting weekend!
