Maybe it's the cereal?
This is the second night in a row that Dominic has gone to bed easily, with little fussing. Matt thinks it is the cereal and I'm inclined to agree with him. I must say that it is such a relief for him to go down easily instead of the usual 45 minutes of cranky crying. However, the cereal does not extend the amount of time he sleeps for. He still gets up every 2-3 hours. One thing at a time, I guess.
We feed him cereal around 6:30-6:45pm, then it is bath time, read Bear Snores On, and one final milk feeding and he goes down. Then he just talks to Jeffy until he dozes off to sleep. I'm hoping that this will be a precedent.
We went to Mother Goose Time at the library today. The librarian has a monkey puppet named Tillie that she greets all the children with. Then Tillie sits on her lap as she begins to start songs and mimic (using Tillie) what to do with your baby. After the songs (which include both sign language, and multiple foreign languages) we read two books together. Children get their own copy to follow along with. We end with a final song and Tillie says goodbye, then the toys are pulled out and the children can have time to play and socialize together. It is a wonderful program and I'm sorry that we will be leaving and will no longer be able to attend.
